I am so excited to let you all know I am going to be on NCIS this week! The episode is called “The Wall” on Tuesday March 28th at 8PM ET / 7PM CST on CBS. I play Bridget O’Leary…and that is about all I can tell you! Spoilers and all of that. Just make sure to watch the entire episode!

I am so grateful for the opportunity to work with an amazing team of people on this episode! I was incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to work with almost all of the main cast members and they couldn’t have been more welcoming or supportive. Not only was it great to work on tv’s most-watched show, but to have the opportunity to work with two very talented woman was the cherry on top! The episode was directed by Bethany Rooney, who was so efficient and creative, and written by Gina Lucita Monreal, who made sure she was always available in case we had any questions!

I just spent the last 2 weeks filming a great episode for an amazing tv show. As usual, I can’t give you any details. But as soon as I get an air date I should be able to spill a few more beans. Keep checking back for all of the details!

I am so excited to announce that I am joining The CW’s The PET Squad Files for season 2! I will play Alexis, the newest member of the Pet Squad team – smart, naturally beautiful and intense.

The PET Squad follows the misadventures of a ragtag group of ex-community college students as they search for Paranormal and Extra-Terrestrial activity. John Dale and Michael Hobert created and star along with Milo Ventimiglia (Heros), Sam Jaeger (Parenthood), and Sam Lloyd (Scrubs). Season Two promises to be bigger and better than the first as The PET Squad descends on Hollywood, California with the newest member of the Pet Squad team.

Get caught up on The PET Squad’s first season now on The CW Seed.

Thanks Jay! Now everyone will know my “BIG” secret! I just heard my Burger King commercial was featured by Jay Leno on Thursday, September 12th’s episode of The Tonight Show as part of his “Hidden Messages” segment where he reveals subliminal and secret messages within famous logos and commercials. I show up 0:45 into the clip.

I finally finished editing together the scenes from my recent guest appearance on CBS’s Criminal Minds! And yes, my eyes were puffy and bloodshot for a whole week. Check out the video below or you can find it, along with my other clips, on my Videos page.

Scenes from the “Nanny Dearest” episode of CBS’s Criminal Minds featuring Samantha as grief-stricken Melody Payton whose two-year-old daughter is kidnapped by a serial killer.

More Great News! Keep your eyes peeled because the comedic promo I shot in April for USA Network’s new series “Summer Camp” is now running on USA!

“Premiering in July and produced by Big Brother’s Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan, the reality series brings 16 adults back to their favorite locale of their youth: summer camp. But instead of campfire sing-alongs, they will take part in some over-the-top and camp-inspired competitions. At the end of the summer, the finalists face off in the Campathalon, an Olympic-style event to determine the winner.”

First, Thank you all so much for all of your support and kind words about my performance as the tearful Melody Payton on Wednesday night’s episode of Criminal Minds! That means so much to me.

Now, for those who either don’t have cable or were unable to watch it last night…my episode “Nanny Dearest” is now available online! You can watch the whole thing now on CBS.com!

I just had my first television interview today! I feel so humble and honored to be interviewed by news anchor Don Jorgensen from KELO news in my hometown – Sioux Falls, SD. Below is the transcript. We discussed my upcoming appearance on CBS’s Criminal Minds. I will post the video of the interview here when I get hold of it.

For now, please click here to watch the full interview.

And don’t forget to tune in to watch me on Criminal Minds!
“Nanny Dearest” on Criminal Minds – Wednesday May 8th, 9/8c on CBS

A South Dakota native is going to be guest starring this week on the CBS’s network TV show ‘Criminal Minds.’

Samantha Colburn grew up in Brandon and went to the University of Minnesota. Now she’s making a name for herself in Hollywood.

Colburn has appeared in several films and TV shows since moving to Hollywood in 2007.  This Wednesday Colburn is a guest star in the episode “Nanny Dearest” on Criminal Minds.

“I play a young mother who has her little girl kidnapped by a serial killer, who is looking for nannies with little kids,” Colburn said.

Ironically, her husband in the movie is another South Dakota native, Leif Gantvoort, who was raised in Clear Lake.

“I don’t run into a lot of South Dakotans out here, believe it not, so what’s was really cool we hung out a lot,” Colburn said.

Her role Wednesday night is a serious one, but Colburn likes to be in comedies too.

“It’s fun to make people laugh, but it’s also fun to cry too, I like doing both,” Colburn said.

She’s also been in TV commercials, including one for M&Ms.

Colburn, who still has family living in the Sioux Falls area and gets back occasionally, has a message for everyone.

“Thank you so much for all the support from my family and my friends and everybody back at Brandon Valley where I started learning my trade and I hope you watch and let me know what you think,” Colburn said.

CBS’s Criminal Minds episode “Nanny Dearest” airs Wednesday at 8 p.m. Central Time on KELOLAND-TV.

Check out the new press release for my upcoming guest appearance on CBS’s Criminal Minds! The episode “Nanny Dearest” airs Wednesday May 8th, 9/8c on CBS.
